Buy ErrorGuard(tm)

It is obvious that this program doesn’t do anything other attempting to sell you ‘fear’, so lets see how much it cost to buy it.

So we click Repair and it comes up with a gigantic Buy Now! (Sounds urgent).

Buy Now!

So given no option, can't remove the "problem" files without registering, we clicked Buy Now.

$29.95 or $30 dollars 5 cents discount

And it says $29.95 for this piece of junk!

We close the screen and the next thing you see is a popup that says,

Warning – critical errors have been detected on your PC. These errors may cause permanent damage to your computer; registration is required for repair, continue?

Right, and registering will also cause permanent damage to your wallet too. Software can’t cause permanent damage. Any serious damage to the operating system just requires you to reformat your hard drive and reinstall.

Time to run an anti-spyware program.

The sole purpose of installing ErrorGuard, screen savers and all other junk software is to test and review a system utility software - System Mechanic 5 to see if it is able to get control of my system back.

Right now, I have Gator, Mywebsearch aka Fun Web Products besides the above super duper software ErrorGuard.

Don't go for unknown products and if you must, then do a search for review from popular spyware forums like spywarewarrior.com before deciding.
Don't pay the anti-spyware programs to 'remove' what they install into your system.

If you're looking for a utility software, you may also wish to consider TuneUp 2007
